This is a clean 3-column It is ready to use, but I take the liberty to label this one DownRight As you can see the WorkShop is using this very Theme already. It seems to be working properly (tested in MIE7, MIE6, Firefox, Opera) ... fingers crossed! UPDATE (Saturday, January 27, 2007): Published! (Download v1.2 available in the left sidebar.) But as I said: this IS a BETA! Theme behaves good, except for that fix for long (non-)text content breaking IE sidebar float ... I cannot make this work properly in a fluid layout. So the fix is disabled (untill I have fixed it, of course). The following Variables are present: Page Background Color And they DO work ... in the v1.2. In the css section there are special entries for some Page Elements and more, like this: /*****************/ Blogger Profile Styles The DownRight DashBoard: ![]() |

Good to see you back on "ring" again! Keep up your blog becouse there is still people who need classic templates (i.e ftp-bloggers like me)
Does the New Blogger (ex-Beta) customization interface work with this theme? If so, I'm pretty excited. I love the way it looks! I've tried some alleged New Blogger templates, but they weren't coded to work through the new interface. When will DownRight be ready? Thanks. Juanito
Juanito,
Ready! And yes, the new interface works with this Theme.
In my dashboard, the blog posts square is halfway underneath the right sidebar, but the page loads fine. Also, how do I change the title color of items in the sidebars? I want to get rid of that pea green!
can't wait to try it, thanks in anticipation, Thur.
Jacey Blue,
I have tested the template, not the Blogger Dashboard.
And I have made a Variable 'Side Title Color'.
You have to pick up the template again anyway! For (checked your pages) you have a wrong version. (Must have happened in a SPLIT second.) Your pages are NOT working in MIE6.
And I notice that you've dropped my 'header information' instantly (my copyright-sign, my signature, as it were)!
Great.
That's the ONLY thing I ask for, in my Terms of Use.
(Being civilized!)
I sometimes wonder why I bother to answer/help :-)
i cant get this themto work in the new blogger. this is the error message i get"Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The document type declaration for root element type "html" must end with '>'. how can i get this to work.. ecoralguy at gmail dot com
Are you talking about this new DownRight v1.1?
Upload the template (or simply copy and paste in the Template Edit Window). NO errors!
IF you are talking ALPHA ( = old ) Blogger Templates ... yes, true ... see: Revert to Classic Template.
You rock. Thanks for the great template. I'll have much fun personalizing it. :)
Do you know why bullets and numbering doesn't show up on my blog when I use v. 1.1 or v. 1.2 of the DownRight template? That seems to be the one thing I can't figure out. The option is still there in the post editor and it looks fine, but when published, the formatting disappears.
Ki Two,
Yes, I disabled them:
.sidebar li, .post li {
font-size: 1em;
list-style: none;
}
In my opinion bullets and numbers are very ugly in this design/layout. Personal taste.
You can change the code mentioned above in the template style section.
Hello Thur. Thank you for the template "DownRight v1.3"
My question is regarding the box around the center column gets crossed over into the right hand column when resizing the window.
But this doesn't happen when I click on "older posts." In that case the box stays nicely around the middle column when resizing.
Is there any way to fix this on the main page?
Thank you again for your time!

That happens because of your post One Stop Shopping for Oscar Prediction Contests. Get Academy Award Fever!.
You have inserted some complete links there, like in that Kansas.com Academy Awards Contest.
Those links are simply far to long. They are interpreted as ONE long word.
And (as I said somewhere before) I had to disable word-wrap: break-word; in order to make this fluid layout work!
You better use
<a href="link address">link name</a> when inserting those types of long links!
